Andrea Pitsch Conservation provides paper conservation and related consulting services to an international clientele of art galleries, museums, auction houses, and individual collectors.


For the past 35 years, our investment of skill, service and dedication has returned two valued assets – the well-being of the objects we treat and the long-term satisfaction and trust of our clients.


Andrea Pitsch earned her Master’s Degree in Art Conservation from Queen’s University, Canada. She gained further experience while working in the conservation departments of the National Gallery of Canada, the Northeast Document Conservation Center, and the Guggenheim Museum.


Andrea is a Professional Associate member of the American Institute of Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works, and all studio work is guided by their Code of Ethics. She established Andrea Pitsch Conservation in New York City in 1985.
